Program Description

Description

It's a new year and a chance to check your eye health.  Join us for an informative evening learning from Dr. John O'Neill, partner at Eye Site Eye Associates in Katy.  Topics to be discussed include:

  • how often eye exams should be performed,
  • at what age children should be seen for the first time,
  • what conditions (blurry vision, black dots, flashes of light, etc.) would warrant an immediate trip to the doctor,
  • new techniques for vision exams (what new tests are available and for what purpose),
  • what choices patients have for corrective lenses
  • Diabetes and the effects it has on ocular health
  • the importance of full diabetic retinal exams to detect the presence of Diabetic Retinopathy and what ways we can reduce the risk for developing this devastating condition.

This program is for adults and teens.  Registration is not required.
