Mission Bend Branch Alert

The Mission Bend Branch Library is currently closed for repairs. Currently held items may be picked up at the front door by calling 832-471-5900 when you arrive at the library. When you call, have your barcode ready to give to staff. Staff will meet you at the front door with your items. Please have your library card and/or photo ID ready to show staff. Check back for updates.

Join us on Wednesday, December 10 at 6 pm, for a lively discussion of West With Giraffes, by Lynda Rutledge. This emotional novel was inspired by the true story of two giraffes who, in 1938, captivated Depression-era America during a cross-country journey to the San Diego Zoo.  There are copies of the book available inside the library.

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
