Program Description

Description

Welcome to the third interview in the Author Spotlight: Voices of Diversity series!  We're going to speak with Crystal Allen today. Crystal lives in Sugar Land/Missouri City and has written many award-winning books (including the Blue Bonnet Award), including the Mya Tibbs series featuring nine-year-old Mya and her many adventures at school and at home. After a few questions from the interviewer, the floor will open to the public.

Mrs. Allen will also take us through a writing workshop so we can write--just like her!

This will be a livestream Webex event. Look for the link in your email at least an hour before the event!
