Program Description

Description

Ruben Degollado, author or "The Family Izquierdo" and the Fort Bend County Community Reads 2023 pick, will join us to discuss how giving characters a voice in their story helps readers to understand universal truths while also being immersed in a specific culture that widen their view of the world.  He will also read a passage from his book and answer questions afterwards. Don't miss out!

This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the George Memorial Library.
