Beat the heat this Summer and join us for an afternoon movie!

Matilda (1996)

Families will be treated to a remake of a popular children’s book written by Roald Dahl. Matilda Wormwood is an extremely curious and intelligent little girl who is very different from her low-brow, mainstream parents (played by Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman), who cruelly ignore her. As she grows older, she discovers she has telekinetic powers that enable her to move objects with her mind. Matilda soon learns how to harness these powers to thwart villains and to help alleviate the sufferings of her friends as well as her own. This film is rated PG.
