Program Description

Description

Friday Films is a series of film screenings at University Branch Library on Friday afternoons.

We’re celebrating the start of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) by showing Stranger Than Fiction – a film in which a mentally unstable IRS auditor (Will Farrell) hears an author’s voice in his head and learns that he is the ill-fated protagonist of her latest work.  While the author (Emma Thompson) struggles with writer’s block, the auditor sets out to find the author and convince her to change her story.

Light refreshments, provided by the Friends of the University Branch Library, will be served.
