Sheba Akhtar, author and professor of art and architecture, will present a visually captivating presentation on Impressionism.  :

Topics to be covered include: Paris as the center of European art; characteristics of Impressionist Art - exploration of light & color, movement & time, landscape & urban life; and artists such as Monet, Degas, Cezanne, and Van Gogh.
