In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, observe and learn about the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, or powdered green tea.  This ceremony also includes traditional Japanese sweets, served to balance the bitter taste of the tea.  This program is presented by members of the Japan-America Society of Houston and is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Library.  No registration required.

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
