Description

Join Mr. Nyofu as he discusses the origins, roots, symbols, practice, and music of the African American holiday, Kwanzaa.

Mr. Mshinda Nyofu is an activist educator and a 29-year celebrant of the African American and Pan-African holiday, Kwanzaa.   As an Advocate of The Organization Us, the founding organization of Kwanzaa, Mr. Nyofu has been mentored and educated about the holiday by the creator of Kwanzaa, Dr. Maulana Karenga. Mr. Nyofu will share what he has learned about the beauty, integrity and expansive meaning of the holiday, including the Nguzo Saba (The Seven Principles).
