Program Description

Description

Transform your old books into unique pieces of art! Learn how to form simple shapes and images by folding pages of a book, creating a work of art to be put on display or given as a gift. In keeping up with our summer reading theme, "A Universe of Stories," we will be folding "out of this world" shapes such as stars, moons, and planets. Participants will be given a book and a pattern to work on in class and take home with them, as well as other patterns to work on at their leisure.

Materials will be provided; however, seating is limited, so registration is required. Register online, in person, or by calling 832-471-5908. This program is for students in grades 9 through 12.
