Program Description

Description

PressBooks allows authors to create professional quality eBooks and print-ready files. In this class, we will cover how to:

  • create a new book
  • set a theme template
  • add parts, chapters, and metadata
  • troubleshoot
  • export

Notes: The PC Lab has computers available for you to use, but you are welcome to bring a laptop if you prefer.

Please bring a document file (preferably .doc or .docx, though .odt will also work) that you can experiment with during the class. A simple example will be provided, but nothing compares to seeing your own writing formatted in a book file.
