Eleanor Stoddart of the San Felipe de Austin State Historic Site will discuss the history of printing, as well as the challenges of printing newspapers and books in the town of San Felipe de Austin. Audience members will have the opportunity to learn more about newspapers printed in San Felipe, and will also try their hand at operating a small printing press.
