In collaboration with Fort Bend County Libraries, SEWA International  - Houston Americorp and Fort Bend County Health and Human Services present: Disaster Preparedness.  Join us for a two-part workshop covering disaster preparedness, one workshop for kids and the other for adults.  Walk away with your entire family prepared for any disaster or emergency, a plan for how working together as a team during such events, what resources are available in and outside of your home, and receive a certificate of completion.

Kid's Presentation (30-45 minutes): Geared towards children ages 6-11 (but adaptable to younger or older students), this session teaches kids about disasters and how they can help their families during such events. Children will receive "Super Sewa Team" stickers, emergency contact cards, a Super Sewa sack bag, an activity pack, and coloring sheets.

Adult Presentation (1-1.5 hours): This presentation focuses on various disasters and what to do during theses disasters such as hurricanes, floods, winter storms, heat waves, and pandemics. Participants will receive a disaster prep cheat sheet, a document-protecting bag, stress balls, and a certificate of completion.
