Program Description

Description

If you are a board member, or considering joining a board, do you know:

  1. What is your job as a board member?
  2. What are you responsibilities?
  3. More importantly, what might be your liabilities?

Join nonprofit manager Mona Fluitt in an introductory crash course about your role in a nonprofit organization. She will cover topics such as the difference between nonprofit, tax-exempt, charitable, and 501(c)(3), questions to ask before accepting a seat on the board of directors, and state and federal compliance issues. Ms. Fluitt has over 30 years of experience and knowledge to share.

No registration required.
