Program Description

Description

Curious about the worst natural disaster the US has ever known? Dr. Cox will provide an overview of the Galveston Hurricane disaster of 1900, the single largest loss of life to a natural disaster in the nation's history.  He'll discuss the hurricane's impact on Galveston, the immediate results to the island's population, and the long term consequences for Galveston, the Gulf Coast, Houston and Texas more broadly.  This will be a pre-recorded program.
