Program Description

Description

A member of the Houston Writers Guild will discuss the difference between writing as a hobby and writing to create a profitable business. Learn about the customer segment (audience) and value proposition (product -- book or blog), and the channels (delivery paths) to deliver these products to the customer base. Gain an understanding of business modeling, sales channels, and platform as they relate to an author's success.

Attendees should bring a laptop, notebook, or other writing materials.
