Calling all anime fans!  Join us to watch and discuss some good anime shows while eating snacks.  Drop-in at any time during the event.  This program is for students in grades 9 through 12.

The Mission Bend Branch Young Adult Advisory Council meets monthly to express ideas, organize upcoming young adult activities, and suggest new teen programs for the branch.

Join us for a sci-fi movie screening! The movie will be determined by the votes of the attendees. Pizza and drinks will be provided. This program is intended for ages 14-18.

Board games are more than just a rainy day activity – and they’re more than just Monopoly!  Staff will teach you the basics of new classics and niche titles alike - come explore the wild, wonderful, and weird world of board games with us.

Join us for a Board-Game Night here at the Mamie George Branch Library!  We will have some fun and interesting board and card games to choose from!

High school students are invited to join this advisory council.  Attendees can earn volunteer hours and enhance their college application or resume while helping their community.  Registration is not required.

Learning to take care of personal finances can be overwhelming, so let the library provide guidance and advice to help understand how to manage money.

Gotta catch ‘em all! Have you watched all the episodes? Played all the games? Know all of the Pokémon? Team up and prove your knowledge or play solo and see how many points you can collect!

Participants will learn various financial skills including budgeting, goal setting, credit card and debit card management, and scam prevention.  This program is for students in grades 9 through 12. 

Teens who enjoy anime culture join to watch anime and participate in related activities such as crafts, recipes, and learning new skills.

Are you writing a book?  Or have you always wanted to write but don't know how to start?  Join fellow authors for creative thinking and discussions of the writing process.

Learn the basics of Microsoft Excel 2016. Excel, a commercial spreadsheet program, features calculation tools designed to aid you in your financial and statistical needs.

Come and go as you please to play a variety of board games! This program usually meets the first and third Monday of the month in Conference Room 2A.

All ages are welcome, anyone under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Teens are invited to the YA Room and relax with a movie of their choosing.
